New Forum Group

Hey guys, I thought it was time to make a new forum group just for experienced members that I feel are in a position to help out new members if need be. The group is called "Veterans" and so far I have chosen a few people to be in the group. You'll know who you are because your name will now be red. I'll add more in time if the site gets bigger, please don't ask to be put into any group or anything like that. I will notice anyone I think should be and choose.

We need to have new members.
I think we should host some sort of promotional event to get more people to join the forums.

Yeah, but what sort of thing can we do to get people interested in joining?

Do like a open lobby with Toy Soldier in and a few others... and get them to basicly advitise this... or do a editing contest?

Perhaps an editing contest or something like that. I don't think the open lobby would work because tbh we rarely all play together and all that. TBH I rarely touch the xbox these days. So yeah perhaps an editing contest or something but now we need clips :\... in HD....

You could make a short like, 10 second edit, good edit about the forums and ask us to upload it to our channels? Might get a member or two not thousands but could be worth a shot

YOu know how people do promotions for their friends and such? Like, a AAE template with multiple videos in it and saying what that person does?

You could do that and show stuff like, LSG's channel and specific things to do with this forum? I could send a link to the type of thing im talking about? Do I have permission to post here?

Nope, just people I feel would be good for the part but of course I'm not gonna able to judge someone properly on only a few posts so yeah, it's not all about posts but the content of your posts if you get me.

Thanks for the rank Tim. Do LSG have a toolbar? They're rarely used anyway - but I guess there could be a forum link... Or would TS be interested in linking up in his channel? Other than that, I think some sorta competition that requires entries to be posted in a thread on here... Or something like that.

Don't worry about deleting it. Nope I exported in PNG and then uploaded to imageshack and linked it from there.

Even if he does its doubtful he'll do anything - he's not as personal with the community as he used to be... his main fanbase is 10 year olds tbh- and I get the impression other commentators don't like him? Anyway, messaged him so maybe that'll end with 202k new members? HA. Worth a try.

Yeah, he wont bother doing anything because let's be honest why would he? I know when I get random messages like this from people I don't know on LSG I never bother even responding.
