This is an idea I've had for a while now. Anyways here is how it's going to work. Every week I'll update this post with the new song of the week. I'll try to introduce you all to some new music that if you give a chance you might end up liking.

Right, so I'm gonna kick start this with some extremely chillaxed music. I hope you can enjoy it for what it is and look past your usual music tastes.

A pretty awesome song that I only just recently started listening to again after a long break from the band. BTW the lyrics are meant to be in a childish form, he is delivering the song from a childs perspective.

Porcupine Tree - Nine Cats

A post-rock progressive song that I love. The band are pretty epic imo and the voice over is from the film "Network" which I'm dying to watch because of this song.

Maybeshewill - Not For Want of Trying

Another post-rock band here but this song is in a completely opposite direction than the previous week in a way.

Ok, I've been absolutely loving this song atm. You might not recognize it at first but you definitely will after a few minutes in. Pretty epic song imo. BTW the person who uploaded the song to youtube couldn't spell the name properly and I lol'd at that.

Last night I watched the FlashForward Finale and this song was in it, let it be said that it was one of those moments when there were shivers up and down my back. It was that good. Ever since then I've been in love with this song.
